Summary

Are you out yet?! is a training course in Sweden about creativity, art and youth participation. The participants
will learn (and create!) new ways to motivate young people in Europe to use art and creativity outdoors in
order to
• actively participate in society
• get involved with global and local questions and issues
• make a change!
The training includes performances, art workshops and cultural activities outdoors. The participants are
people working or volunteering as youth leaders or interested in developing their leadership skills in order to
work with youth in the future.

Objectives

  • Give participants hands-on access to simple creative tools and artistic methods (mainly outside and/or
in public space) to use and develop when they return to their own organizations.
  •  Give participants the opportunity to reflect on public space and how it can be activated and used by
    organizations and youth.
  •  Provide participants with some context and background on art and activism, how it is related and
crosses into each other with specific focus on public space.
  •  Provide a space for participants to share and exchange best practices, inspiration, ideas, methods and
    techniques.
  • Provide a space for developing ideas and projects together during the training and for the future.
  • Reflect on and develop leadership competences to work with groups of youngsters.
