On October 6, 2018, the kick off meeting of the KA2 Strategic Partnerships for adult education project was held in Pärnu (Estonia), in which the members of four associations took part; in addition to Rääma Noorte Ühing Noorus (Estonia), coordinator of the project, was attended by Associacao Intercultural Amigos Damobilidade (Portugal), Futuro Digitale (Italy), Sdruzhenie Alternative International (Bulgaria).
The project aims to identify what are the professional failings of adult educators, and above all to retrain and update their skills. The objective of the project is therefore to provide the skills for using IT tools in teaching.
During the meeting, in addition to the analysis of the project, the points that the project must provide were exposed. Thus, goals have been planned to empower educators in digital education, as well as thinking about ways to provide them with these skills. An online platform will contain all project results, which can be consulted at any time by educators who are involved in adult education. The platform will also present the various surveys, used for research and identification of the needs of teachers and students.
After defining the roles, the outputs to be achieved, the deadlines and dates next, the meeting ended in the satisfaction of the participants.
