Summary

The BYT project is about the Bushcraft theme as a youth work tool for outdoor activities. Bushcraft is defined as “a set of knowledge and techniques for living in a natural environment, exploiting the resources to meet primary needs such as food and shelter. Normally the techniques used are basic and primitive and rely on the knowledge acquired by man during his evolution. Bushcraft does not rely on modern and technological equipment, instead favoring the abuse of a few elementary tools with which to build the rest “.

BYT’s goal is to disseminate and make bushcraft usable in an innovative way as a method of working with young people, in associative and non-formal contexts.

The main output

(O1) is the creation of an E-toolkit on bushcraft techniques and methodologies, which are accompanied above all by training activities for operators (C1-C2-C3-C4-C5) and a cascade on the youth of each partner country.
