Description

The general idea of the project “Innovative approaches and non-formal methods to promote creative potential and entrepreneurial skills among young people” is to stimulate the young people to develop innovative thinking, find new employment opportunities and convert their own ideas into value – in other words to be entrepreneurial. NGOs, experts, specialists, teachers and pupils will be engaged in a large number of different initiatives, non-formal trainings and workshops considering the significant and emphasis put on Entrepreneurship education and on entrepreneurial attitude and skills. The specific objectives of the project include strategic exchange of good practice on EU level, amongst three partnering organizations from different countries, and fostering entrepreneurship and pro active labour behavior of young people.

The project will be implemented in two main stages – preparatory and practical. During the first stage the youngsters-participants will conduct labour market research in their regions, will meet representatives of different local companies and will get to know how to process research data. The activities we plan to conduct and organize follow the pattern of understanding entrepreneurship bringing together theoretical input and experiential learning. Students form teams to develop their ideas and to set up their own enterprises, considering the specifics of their region. Representatives of the local business and experienced coaches will educate and supervise the youth participants through the whole project activities.

During the second project stage the youngsters from each partnering country will develop just one business idea. They will set up one “Creative agency” with particular activities which will include all business departments, necessary for the functioning of a company. They will put to practice their entrepreneurial knowledge and creative thinking while running that company in order to achieve its successful and stable development.

Our aim is to establish connections with employers – employees – clients. The newly – founded companies will organize charity events to contribute to the development of the society they have been set up in. All the experts and the project teams will provide guidance and support to the youngsters’ teams raising the level of their competences and self-confidence.
