Futuro Digitale, thanks to the collaboration of the municipal administration of Platania, organized and took part, in the days from 25 to 30 March 2019, in the project meeting ” RESTARTING ADULT LEARNING SKILLS THROUGHT NEW TEACHING METHODS (ADULT RESTART)”, which was attended, in addition to the project leader organization (Jelgava Local Municipality Correspondence School) also the Adult Education Center of Tallinn (Estonia), project partner.
The aim of the project is to analyze, research and develop pedagogues for innovative and high quality material that can help distance learning for adults, as well as to improve the methods used. In fact, during meetings held at the “Felice Mastroianni” Literary Park in Platania, all these aspects were highlighted.
After the welcome of the municipal administration and the mayor of Platania, the partners presented and discussed their activities. The Latvian participants presented the results of the questionnaires submitted to Italian, Latvian and Estonian students, guiding the discussion and comments on the outputs obtained. The Estonian participants, on the other hand, have presented and explained accurately the platform used and all the courses they have available. The meeting was also attended by Professor Pasqualino Serra, head of the “UNLA” platform, presenting the same and the courses offered as well as showing the MIUR “Sofia” platform.
The meeting schedule also included cultural visits, such as the historic center of Nicastro and that of Sambiase, led by Dr. Giovanni Mazzei, with a visit to the churches, museums and places of historical interest. Moreover, thanks to the Pro Loco of Platania and its president Paolo Nicolazzo, the partners were guided in excursions on the Monte Reventino, Tiglia waterfall, the historic center and museum of Platania.
